"NULL & VOID" E.P. AND "23 YEARS..." SPLIT L.P. ADDED TO BANDCAMP
For those of you who missed out on the above releases, I added them to my bandcamp page for download.
Here's the link:
SLOGUN "NULL & VOID" E.P. SOLD OUT
I'm happy to announce that "Null and Void" is now sold out. Thank you to everyone who ordered a copy.
The release was strictly limited to about 30 copies because of the inclusion of an actual authentic piece of art from the collection in every issue.
This is a CD-R with a 40-page issue of my "circle-fill" art from Sick at Home, 2x postcards, and one of the actual pieces of art from the collection.
This is a 3" x 5" black ink of white paper "circle-fill" portrait, which you can see on my "sickathome.com" site for further reference.
Most importantly, the CD/EP has seven tracks:
Three new exclusive tracks: 1. Null 2.Void 3. Still Life
as well as the three "bonus" tracks from the limited edition "Die Song" cassette that were never re-released in any form until now
4. Driven to Kill 5. Cry Me A River 6. Sunset Strip
along with my track from the MHZ compilation "Lambda" never before re-released
Seven tracks total, along with 40-page magazine, 2x postcards and actual black-ink drawing in poly-bag.
I also added unique writing/drawings/etc to each copy to make each one unique in it's own way, including hand-written lyrics never to be used anywhere else with a personal message to each person who ordered.
SELF/OMEI: SECOND RELEASE BEING WORKED ON
I'll soon be getting off my ass and start putting together the next Self/Omei release, not-yet-titled, but I already have an idea where I want to go with the elaborate packaging to follow "It Never Ends Well".
The theme of this edition will be the sacrifices we make.
More info to follow soon.

For anyone interested, I really need to clear up some space here at "Casa Slogun", so I am selling complete sets of the six re-issue CD's from the "History of Violence" run for $25 plus postage.

A BIT OF "PRE-SLOGUN" HISTORY: "CIRCLE OF SHIT" CASSETTE
I was digging around the crates recently and found the last remaining copy of my first attempt at anything musically from 1992/93, my "Circle of Shit" cassette that was limited to 10 copies, long since forgotten and thought to have been lost.
I was basically messing around with all my influences and cutting up material, creating manic anxiety-filled tracks that reflected early Current 93, Nurse With Wound, Non and 23 Skidoo.
Upon listening to it again it was painfully obvious that I would never re-release the material, but I thought many of you may enjoy seeing the artwork, pieced together using much of my influence that would later on show it's face with early Slogun material.
Also an influence was friend Howard Forbes and his artwork that some of you may remember from his ads in "The Fifth Path" magazine way back when, about 25 years ago.
Time sure does fly.
SLOGUN/FIRE IN THE HEAD SPLIT L.P. "23 YEARS CLOSER TO NOTHING"
LAST FEW AVAILABLE
The split L.P. with Fire In The Head, "23 Years Closer to Nothing" is down to the last few copies, and you can order one from me as it is already sold-out from the label.
It's on the "FINDERS" label and it's release date marks the anniversary of the Tompkin's Square Park riots of 1988, of which both Mike Page and I have a connection to.
Themed around the hyper-gentrification of our once beloved East Village neighborhood, each project has about 15 minutes of new material for the split.
The LP comes in a wrap-around sleeve with artwork revolving around the EV scene, along with an insert sheet and booklet.
Cost: $23 plus shipping
For those who want to order a copy from me, email me at email@example.com for availability
For Slogun, the track list is as follows:
1: See Hear; 2: Hooks and Eighties; 3: Trouble.Maker; 4: Play Dead
SLOGUN LIVE IN BOLOGNA, ITALY: APRIL 23RD, 2016
"XI CONGRESSO POST INDUSTRIALE"
Just got back from Bologna, Italy where I performed with the other guys listed above.
Great time hanging out, sight-seeing and seeing everyone again.
CLICK HERE for more on the show.
There was also a very limited edition Slogun two-track vinyl 12" called "All But One" released by Old Europa Cafe for the event. Thank you Rudy for this release as well as getting me out there.
The 12" was strictly limited to 23 copies and available only at the show, and comes with a 12-page comic-sized book of art as well as a print that is hand numbered and signed by me.
The two tracks are called: Side A: Charades; Side B: Dead Awake and total about 22 minutes.
SLOGUN / STRICT: COLLABORATION: NOW UNDER WAY
After various project obligations and my recent show in Italy I am now bearing down to begin my collaboration with one of my oldest friends and closest allies, Jeremy from Strict, on a full-length release combining his source material with my lyrics/vocals.
Very early in planning stages, and there's always a chance I'll have him contribute vocals as well. But rest assured, this will be a monster release.
Anyone familiar with Jeremy and his project Strict knows what I mean, and I look forward to jumping right into this project.
All source material will be original Strict sounds created during a prolific period in Jeremy's life almost 20 years ago. Raw, no bullshit, extreme Power Electronics.
The label releasing this is still up in the air. Keep an eye out here for more info.
SLOGUN / WERTHAM SPLIT CD "BY BLOOD: IN BLOOD"
This long-awaited collaboration CD release is now available. Contact Rudy at Old Europa Cafe, Marco of Wertham or myself for ordering info.
The CD is co-released by Old Europa Cafe and Elettronica Radicale Edizioni and comes in Digipak form with 12-page booklet.
It contains three new tracks by both projects, as well as a four collaboration tracks between us.
So ten tracks total, all exclusive to this release.
"LISTEN AND DIE" 6XLP REISSUE BOX SET ON URASHIMA : AVAILABLE NOW
Finally out is the incredible Urashima 6xLP box set reissuing the now legendary cassette Slaughter box from 1997, "Listen and Die!".
Originally a monster 6-cassette collection of Italian and American Power Electronic acts housed in an oversized snap-case box celebrating Marco's 100th release on his label in 1997, Urashima did a great job putting the LP reissue together with added inserts remembering Slaughter Label's own Marco Corbelli (R.I.P.).
Anyone interested should contact him for availability.
SLOGUN / SELF BANDCAMP PAGE NOW AVAILABLE
Finally decided to go ahead and create a bandcamp page for both Slogun and Self since everyone and their mother seemed to have one.
For anyone interested I've put up about 99% of the entire Slogun and Self output, and some rare tracks too.
Here's the link: https://sloguncos.bandcamp.com/
I also plan on adding actual merch as well (releases, postcards, stickers, buttons, t-shirts, etc), so keep an eye on the page for any new postings.
"NOTHING. EVER.": FULL-LENGTH SLOGUN ALBUM: OLD CAPTAIN RECORDS
I have started recording what will be the next Slogun full-length album, "Nothing. Ever.", which will be released on the Ukranian label Old Captain.
Look for about 10 new Slogun tracks with a Self track added in.
It will be a CD packaged in a four-panel digipak, but I'll have more details in the coming months.
SELF/OMEI: "IT NEVER ENDS WELL" STILL AVAILABLE
There are some copies of the Omei/Self split "It Never Ends Well" still available and can be ordered by contacting Chris or myself.
The cost is $16 domestic postpaid and $25 Intl. postpaid.
Take a look at the final result:
Each copy comes with 2x 34-minute cassettes, five business card inserts, an embroidered patch, 1" button and sticker inside a burlap bag with printed tag and scalpel blade tying it all together.
Approximate run on this one is around 75-100.
"A BREED APART" LP REISSUE ON URASHIMA: AVAILABLE NOW
The LP limited edition "A Breed Apart" released on Urashima just arrived and they look amazing. They did an awesome job with it.
Limited to only 99 copies, the LP comes in a silver-ink printed sleeve with an additional print/information sheet.
I only have very few copies to dish out, so contact me if you'd like to order one.
Thus concludes the life of this early release, finally making it onto vinyl after it's original cassette issue in 1997, as well as CD reissue in 2006 .
